Sophie was just going to pour herself some juice as she waited for Headmaster Tate's speech when she heard a girl speaking nearby by about being full up. Sophie saw from the corner of her eye how Evan approached from the Slytherin house table and was heading her way. Drinking some juice she focused on the chatter around her as looking at Evan only made that very familiar roller coaster of feelings well up again. She was angry, she was hurt, she was frustrated, she was just about every feeling you could be in this situation.

She felt rather than saw that he sat down on the empty seat next to her. Her initial reaction was to scoot away from him but she risisted that urge. When Evan spoke and caught her eyes in the process she turned reluctantly to face him. "We can still be friends yes, but i'm still very much hurt and angry with you. I thought there was going to be us not just friends."

It would take some time for her to get used to the new situation.
