Her breath caught in her throat, and she swallowed hard as she made her way through the crowded room and found an empty seat at the Gryffindor table.
Sighing, she set the box of Gryffindor cookies she had baked just for tonight, just like she did each term, but....her heart just wasn't in it. Looking around the Gryffindor table, she kept hoping that she would see the red head boy who had become her constant and confidence, only to know that such attempts to find him were useless.
Adam was gone....there was nothing she could do to change that.
Frowning, Kurumi leaned her elbows on the table and simply stared at the crimson box filled with lion pride.
Selina looked down the table and saw Kurumi sitting sadly. She was smart enough to know the source of her pain. Adam was gone and he had left a scar on Kurumi's heart. The little second year Gryffindor stood up from her seat om the bench and made her way over to Kurumi. From behind the little Japanese girl Selina wrapped her arms around her friend giving her a hug. She held on for a moment and then let go. Once she let her go she sat down beside Kurumi, "Hey. How are you?"

He sighed as he found neither Kurumi nor Selina and sat down. He was surprised that Kurumi wasn't there, she was always first to give out cookies to the houses and the teachers. Well... He might as well stay put. There was no need going back to a table where he knew noone.
Selina saw Hugo sitting all alone at the Gryffindor table and yelled to him from her seat, "Oi Hugo, get over here! Your friends are down here!"
