She was about to jump up and go after him when she spotted Jim and smiled.
Rufus immediately jumped onto Jim's leg and scampered up his arm to perch on his shoulder and sort of ... hugged his head. Chattering a bit he pointed back toward Lexi and began to jump on Jim's shoulder.
"He probably just likes you, Ivan...he wants to be your friend but you are determined to hate him," Lexi said matter of factly. Really. Rufus was lovely.
Lexi shook her head and sighed, "Some Gryffies are idiots, what can I say? Who was it... maybe I can set her hair on fire or something." She would. Really.

"You have to join the military? They are MAKING you? That is utter... rubbish! Oh Ivan I am so sorry!" she fussed over him patting his arm and stuff.

Speaking of Jim... she needed to fetch her monkey. Grabbing his arm she began to pull him with her. "Rufus ran to Jim, let's go talk to him. Jim... not the monkey. Perhaps we can plan a get away while we're at it," she said with a smile.
Reaching Jim she pursed her lips and GLARED at Rufus. "Traitorous little monkey! And hey Jim. What's up?" she said as she plopped down beside him, finally releasing Ivan's arm and pulled Jim into a one armed hug and smiled as Rufus smiled at her, smacked Jim in the head and came back to perch on her shoulder. Hehe.
Pshh. Monkey.
Jim gave Rufus LOOKS.
"You should be appreciating me, fiend, after everything I've done for you. Didn't I give you to the prettiest girl in the school? Huh? Yeah thats what I thought." Bloody pygmy marmoset. Cute and epic, but so fickle.
He grinned at Ivan and Lexi, pleased to see them getting along.
"Hey party people."
He let Lexi hug him and lifted his head in acknowledgement at Ivan. Yeah, Ivan got a 'sup'. They were that cool.

Kyle walked up to the table, looking up and down she noticed a free spot near Jim - ah best say hi. She thought, after all it had been a week or so since she had said hello to him in Diagon Alley.

"Oh hey Kyle." He grinned casually as she sat down.
"Sounds good. I think I know who you mean. Tiny thing." Well. Anyone under third year was a tiny thing to Jim. Big bad seventh year at your service. But he had played quidditch himself after all.
... and totally won against Gryffindor. So, booyah.
"Bring her along to the first meeting." He added, trusting Kyle's judgement. If the kid sucked, Jim would just make her leave.
"Mmmm. Some of it was alright."

Finn didn't think that he'd appreciate that too much. And everyone else was going to be sat around Jim probably. He was Mr.Popular after all. Maybe Finn could go introduce himself to the firsties. He could see Jim from where he was stood. He was with Lexi, and Ivan. Yeah. He definetly couldn't go over there. This kinda sucked.
He glanced up when the head boy arrived and after a moment looked away.
