Mordred was one of the last first years to get out of the train a while ago, and obviously Aurora didn't bother to wait for him as he changed into his school uniform. As he entered the Great Hall, he again wished he had another set of eyes. "Not bad." he told himself. He looked around him to find 4 long tables before him. Each table was slowly becoming crowded with hungry students. After he was sorted in to the Slytherin House, he looked out for students with green and silver ties and joined them. Near the front he saw Aurora.
"Good thing you dashed out of the compartment right away." he said as he sat down beside Aurora. "I was able to change in peace." he added. "Good to see you in the same House." Mordred grinned.
"As if we ever doubted it!" Aurora grinned at Mordred. It was a bit of a relief that she knew
someone in her own house.
"Sorry I left you, I'm a little excited, in case you hadn't noticed. I was the first one in here, isn't it wonderful!" She could tell he was a
little amazed, though he was trying not to show it.
"I have to write to mother after dinner, she'll want to know I'm in Slytherin. Have you charmed your tie green yet?"
