Oh gosh. Had her small little peal of laughter escaped? Feeling horribly embarrassed now, Ivory resisted the urge to cover her mouth with her hand. You know, just in case some more wanted to spill out.

But she had other issues to attend to like scooting over a little to her left without endangering the small first year there. Flahsing the firstie a little apologetic smile, she gathered up the edge of her robes as she inched away from Dallin. Didn't want to be sat on and then get up quickly later and find herself on the floor, tripped by her own captured robes. True story. It'd happened before.

Giving Treyen a little wave, she gave him what she hoped was an understanding smile that said Hey, it's cool. Because it was, she understood. Maybe not from personal experience but...well that was neither here nor there. Best to not think about that now.

Anywho, it seemed Treyen was now focusing his attention on Ellie whom it seemed to her appeared very happy to be the center of it if her beaming smile was any indication.

She seemed to understand it, yet he knew it had been so wrong of him to even walk away from his table.

But, hey, hold on a second, WHAT exactly was Ivy understanding, eh? His eyes widened at the thought, and he couldn't bear to look at the Prefect anymore, not that he was doing such a thing now, all he did was blush. If she understood what he thought she'd understood, then...sigh.

At least she wasn't saying anything...yet.

Oh. Hi. NOW he was talking to her. "Sure you wouldn't." Not on purpose, she knew. All the same, she was reeling her bag from its straps, off the floor and into her lap. Where it was safe. And it will stay there. Not to mention, Spike's present was also in there. She definitely didn't want that to break.

Yet now that Treyen was paying attention to her, it made it very difficult to keep conversation with the other two. And Ellie tried to send them apologetic looks. She had no control over the boy. She'd never seen him like this either, though. It was new to her.

Favorite? Heh. Speaking of SUCK UPS. "Just fine, thank you very much." Mhm. He was getting a LOOK.

The BIGGEST mistake ever. He was soooo going to pay for it. He knew.

Right. She already knew how he felt about the whole camera thing, even if she'd been nice enough to take a couple pictures for him. It did come in handy, the camera, but still, her answer on that matter didn't interest much as the next. It was that reply that will allow him to know exactly in HOW much trouble he could be.

Oh?

VERY much trouble.

And the LOOK. She didn't need to say anything else. He swallowed before speaking again, YES, he was still trying to mend it, "That's...good to know." There was a MAJOR change in his voice this time, it was clearly not as cheerful as before, and he had looked away from Ellie before replying. The LOOK, he didn't enjoy it one bit. Stupid mistake.

He was playing with his fingers now, and hoping Maya would come and interrupt him like she did last year, he'd soooo welcome her, for real.

"I--I got you something from the World Cup," which she wasn't going to get as long as she kept giving him LOOKS.

How come he felt like he'd lost something?

Was he just talking to him to be polite, since he'd kind of inturrupted their conversation? Not that Dallin minded, because Ellie could talk to whoever she wanted to talk to, but whatever. "Fifth year," he replied, giving the easy version with no further details. "And you?"

And then the Puff's attention was no longer on him, nor was anyone else's at that moment, so Dallin had no idea what to do. He glanced from the Puff, to Ellie, and then to Ivory, catching the smirk on the prefect's face. He wasn't even going to wonder what that was about.

He turned his attention to Ellie and Treyen, who seemed to have forgotten about everyone except the girl he was talking to. He listened long enough to hear 'favorite Ravenclaw' before deciding it was none of his business. He turned back to Ivory, a curious look on his face.

'What's up with them?' he mouthed silently, motioning to the two beside him. He thought that maybe Ivory would understand since she was a girl and all.

Thank you, Dallin, for answering his question. All his questions, really.

And he wanted to apologize NOW, for being such a Slytherin, but no chance he was doing that, after all, he'd danced with Ellie. "Fifth, eh?" the Prefect was out of words, quite literally, his mind was still trying to figure out ways of mending the mistake of forgetting to say a simple 'Hi' to the person that mattered the most.

"Fifth year, as well," he nodded, trying to smile...and quite possibly failing at doing so, "Do you like Quidditch?" it wasn't like he'd turned his back to Ivy and Dallin, so, he could still talk to the boy, right? As long as he didn't ignore the girl next to him.
