Got it.

But, look! The boy was super nice to Treyen, and whilst his tone had been a friendlier one, his intentions...not so much. It was like Maya all over again. Maya. His eyes wandered off to the table only to notice her absence, and they were back on the Ravenclaw table before he could be sad about it. "Dallin." Nod, nod, "It is very nice to meet you," though, he'd wanted to say 'finally meet you', but, yeah, whatever.

"What year are you in?" now he was only being friendly.

You know what? Ivy had a bunch of free space next to her, she could...scoot over, no? No, because he'd intruded into their table, and their conversation.

Now that he finally took a moment to think it over, it was the stupidest thing he'd ever done, "Sorry, Ivy." Surely, she understood, right? That he didn't mean to do it? He was going to have a VERY hard time trying to explain if the fellow Prefect asked any questions on the matter.

He was wrong. Intruding wasn't the stupidest thing he's ever done. Failing to greet her...WAS. There was no way he could make it right. NO WAY.

Treyen should've stayed in his table, wondering where Arya was, and waiting for the speech. But NO, he had to figure other things out. Things that didn't matter to him now. Great.

Sigh.

Mistakes. He hated them.

At least he learned from them, that's why he was smiling towards Ellie now, "I'd never do anything to your camera," she should know better, after all, he only tried to convince her not to carry it around wherever she went. She didn't need the camera.

"How's my favorite Ravenclaw doing, by the way?" he asked, eyes on Ellie. Dallin and Ivy completely forgotten on the other side.

"Yes..." Dallin answered when the boy repeated his name. He was beginning to think that other boys were just as weird as females when Treyen spoke again.

Was he just talking to him to be polite, since he'd kind of inturrupted their conversation? Not that Dallin minded, because Ellie could talk to whoever she wanted to talk to, but whatever. "Fifth year," he replied, giving the easy version with no further details. "And you?"

And then the Puff's attention was no longer on him, nor was anyone else's at that moment, so Dallin had no idea what to do. He glanced from the Puff, to Ellie, and then to Ivory, catching the smirk on the prefect's face. He wasn't even going to wonder what that was about.

He turned his attention to Ellie and Treyen, who seemed to have forgotten about everyone except the girl he was talking to. He listened long enough to hear 'favorite Ravenclaw' before deciding it was none of his business. He turned back to Ivory, a curious look on his face.

'What's up with them?' he mouthed silently, motioning to the two beside him. He thought that maybe Ivory would understand since she was a girl and all.
