It was strange looking at her. Like he was seeing her with two sets of eyes. Young Van, idealistic and somewhat infatuated, and the Evander of today, jaded, a little wistful, and a lot wiser.

"Perhaps when we're not on the clock." He added in a brisk tone and stood up. "If you come with me, I'll show you to your desks, and introduce you to your team."
