The office was empty.
When Armen had arrived at the Ministry early that morning he had entered his office merely to hang up his traveling cloak and hat and then was off to gather the things he had gotten for the first day back at the Ministry from a nearby closet. He hadn't returned since. Instead when an employee from his level entered the office and knocked accordingly the small device on his desk shaped like an Eagle with its beak open emitted the audible vouce of a cool female:

"Mr. Recard is not in at the moment. If you need to speak with him please leave a note specifying what it is you need and he will visit your request soon--"
But in mid-speech the female voice was interupted and just like a Muggle telephone's signifying 'BEEP' the playful and excited voice of Armen blurted out:

"If you need me I plan to be in the Break room. We are having a Welcome Brunch so come and join us, whether or not your question or pondering is life-threatening or not. If its the latter we can cross that bridge when you get here! Bye!"
Then the figurine was silent.
