I found your example rather confusing, Nadia. It is still according to how many points you win over the other team, but now there is a minimum number of points you can earn (there are no extra points). Maybe I can explain it better?
The points awarded to the winning team are equal to the difference in the scores or 150 points, whichever is greater. Quote:

240 - 75 = 165
therefore, Slytherin received 165 points for winning the match
