Part One of My combined dare:


It was nearly Halloween and Snape still hadn’t decided on a costume. Dumbledore was making him really mad saying that his costume was so spectacular and secret and cool that he was keeping it locked in his bathroom under guard of Dementors. Now, Snape normally wouldn’t worry about having a nice costume, but this year Dumbledore was organizing a Halloween Ball, and he’d invited all the EEFFD members, and that made Snape incredibly nervous. All that evilness in the same room as him… He needed to look good.



Having a sudden sense of inspiration, Snape decided he would wear his swimming trunks to the costume ball. If that didn’t win him best costume and have the EEFFD girls swooning after him, nothing would. He ran over to his chest of drawers and started rummaging through them, trying to find the aforementioned article of clothing. Having no luck finding them there, he extended the radius of his search to include the entire castle.



He marched outside and headed for the lake, thinking that perhaps someone had borrowed them to go swimming in. As he neared his destination he heard a zooming noise overhead. Looking up he saw Potter zooming around on his broomstick, chasing pigeons.



“Potter!!!” Snape yelled. Harry stopped zooming and turned to face Snape, hovering 10 metres above his head.



“Yes Professor?” Harry asked, trying to sound innocent, but dreading that Snape had found out what he was going to the Halloween Ball as, and was about to tell him off.



“Have you seen my swimming trunks? I seem to have misplaced them and -er I wanted to go swimming. Yeah that’s it, swimming” Said Snape, deftly (Not!) covering up the fact that he needed them for his Halloween costume.



Harry, remembering seeing Fred and George steal the trunks and fly them up a flagpole by the quidditch pitch, decided he’d better get them.

“Yeah, I think I saw them earlier – some Hufflepuffs were flying them up a flagpole. I’ll go get them” and he zoomed off to the Quidditch pitch.



Snape, who was suspicious that the ‘Hufflepuffs’ were really Harry and his friends, waited until Harry returned, took the Trunks, Grudgingly thanked Harry and returned to the castle to wash them. As he walked back up to the castle he sneakily turned around and cast a spell on Harry’s broom so he fell off.
