He hoped she didn't mind sarcasm, because if she did, well she was just gonna have to get used to it. Either that or he was going to have to, Merlin forgive him, censor himself!

Adam Emmerson. That was him. "Yes." He took the goblin's hand, kinda awkward with the height difference, but he supposed he'd get used to it, and gave it a good, formal, shake.

"Yes." Adam answered again, accompanied with a nod. He hoped he was ready, at least.

And, apparently the older man was new, too. Gideon.

Hehe. Gideon had a sense of humor, from what Adam took of it. He liked him. Yup.
