¼ of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pls Pulling his luggage, face red, Evan made his way to the Prefects' Compartment directly, not looking at anywhere else on the way. He had decided to show up here for a few minutes, say goodbye to Trixie and Cedric and the other Head Boy whose name he couldn't remember now, leave his bag, and then leave before any awkward moment with Sophie. He had been avoiding her since the lake encounter, and he wasn't up to the effort of getting back to normal. Not yet.
Peeking inside through the open door, his heart broke a bit at the unhappy Cedric and crying sight of Trixie. With a sigh, he dragged his luggage inside, placed it in the shelf and turned to close the door. "Hi," he greeted softly, at a loss of words. He didn't know what else to say; Sophie seemed to have taken up the job to console Trixie anyway. So, sitting across Cedric, he looked out of the window again, with occasional glances at the two girls. It seemed to be a long time before he could excuse himself. At least, he still had a whole year to need someone to console him. |
