Kyle stepped into the compartment and took a seat opposite Emily, "I know, its going to be so different without you here Emily" Kyle spoke softly she didn't want to loose a friend but, yeah Emily was going to do amazing things at the ministry. Still, she smiled, "I just had the weirdest compartment stint - walked into a compartment intime to hear someone ask...a guy i'd just barely met if he'd ever had a girlfriend - you could just feel the tension build...it was pretty epic" she had to get that out there - it was the weirdest thing to walk in on after all.
"Anyways, what are you doing this summer before heading to the ministry?" She asked Emily smiling.
"Mmmm... I'm looking forward to staring my training. I know it will be challenging, but I'm up for it."
Oh wow Kyle's Aunt worked at the ministry?...
"Perhaps I might see her", she said smiling, though unless they were in the same department it would be unlikely, after all the Ministry did employ a lot of people.
Emily couldn't help but laugh as Kyle told her of the awkward moment she had witnessed,
"Yep... it does happen. I've walked in on my fair share of awkwardness in my seven years"... and created her fair share of them too. Oh yes, Vindictus was still fresh in Emily's mind, she was not going to forget that very quickly... she regretted not paying more attention at the time though. Perhaps then she'd have kissed him properly and not the silly bread roll... still she couldn't beleive she had done the deed in the first place.
"Don't have to much planned, just a lot of preperation... I'm looking at buying an appartment in London, that way I'll be closer to work. Hopefully I find something.".... Mmmm yes she was looking forward to getting her own place. Not having to worry about her mother and all the misery.
