After starring out the window for what seemed like an eternity Emily looked toward the door of the compartment in time to see Kyle pop her head in.
"Nope... don't mind at all", she said smiling as she gestured for Kyle to sit with her. "I can't believe this is it..." she said in a small voice. She wasn't crying anymore, though it was still sad, Emily felt accomplished. She had seen Hogwarts through to the end. The next chapter of her life was waiting to be explored.

Kyle stepped into the compartment and took a seat opposite Emily, "I know, its going to be so different without you here Emily" Kyle spoke softly she didn't want to loose a friend but, yeah Emily was going to do amazing things at the ministry. "But you'll have fun at the ministry I think - my aunt Alicia works there now...don't know what department with the ministry change over and all" she'd only known of the change over because of the latest copy of the daily prophet saying it was closing for a while.

Still, she smiled, "I just had the weirdest compartment stint - walked into a compartment intime to hear someone ask...a guy i'd just barely met if he'd ever had a girlfriend - you could just feel the tension build...it was pretty epic" she had to get that out there - it was the weirdest thing to walk in on after all.

"Anyways, what are you doing this summer before heading to the ministry?" She asked Emily smiling.
