It was only when Arya asked him directly who the letter was from, that his mind clued in to movement and response. Quietly, he offered the parchment to her, watching her carefully out of the corners of his eyes. Probably not the most strategic way to break news to someone.
She was worrying more now, about the letter, and about him. Reaching up she took hold of one of his hands in hopes to keep it from trembling, eyes searching his hoping to get some answer from the lion.
When she got nothing, she turned her attention back to the letter he was offering her, a bit hesitant to take just by his reactions. She skimmed the letter first, then slowly reread it twice, a frown setting into her features as the words sunk in and she comprehended exactly what this meant.
"Your going to be an auror...?" She spoke in a quiet tone, her eyes never leaving the letter in her hands as a mixture of emotions ran through her.
