Halle looked next to her to see Nika."Hey." Halle replied. It was strange to be leaving. She felt so sad leaving. "You know atleast, you'll be back next term." She said quietly. She suddenly had tears in her eyes. "Is it okay to cry?" She asked. Nika would tell her the truth. Nika always told her the truth.
Nika wiped her eyes and added food onto her plate. She stared at it and then looked down.
"On second thought I'm not that hungry." Nika pushed away her plate and then turned away to wipe her eyes some more. When she turned back and saw that Halle looked like she was on the verge of tears to Nika relaxed knowing hat she wouldn't have to hide her tears anymore.
"Yeah I suppose so-" Nika could finish and ended up crying softly.
"It's not fair. I can't go to Hogwarts without you and Rex. I-I just can't. It won't be the same. And oh this is supposed to be a happy feast. We won, gryffies dominated and I'm sitting here crying. Does that make me a bad person? I just can't be happy knowing that two of my bestest friends are leaving." she looked at Halle and then grabbed a tissue out of her bag. She placed it on the table slowly.
"You can use some if you'd like. I just knew this was going to happen and as much as I tried to stop it I just couldn't. I know I have the holidays to look forward to but I just can't."
