Every other time had been full of one stress or another.
With a sigh and a scuff of his foot on the cold, stone floor, Sabel made his way into the hall, and over to the lion's table. He couldn't help but blink at the box Kurumi held with some suspicion as he lowered himself into the seat on the other side of Lexi. "Do I need to ask what those are? And if I don't...I think you've outdone yourself this time." Despite eying the box like it might spring open, the words came with a light tone and a smile. Kurumi seemed to be the natural baker of Hogwarts, and it was quite endearing.
Kurumi saw Sabel and smiled. It was only in that moment that she realized that the boy who had been stuck in every awkward situation with her since the beginning of the term would not be back to do that a second time. Glancing over at Lexi for a moment, Kurumi began to understand why her mama-lion was looking so sad.
It was getting harder and harder every year to say good-bye to the 7th years. Especially when it was a good-bye that could mean they would never see each other again.
Frowning just for a moment, Kurumi eyes brightened and she opened the box. "
Sabel," she squeaked. "
Con...Congratulations."

Kurumi's cheeks flushed as Josh made his appearance known - as he always did - in a loud voice and shining confidence. "
I-I-I made cookies for you, um, I mean you and everyone, I mean, everyone..." Could she crawl under the table now? Please?

"
I made my own fortune cookies," she smiled showing Lexi the contents of the box. She shook the box a bit until she found a special pink fortune cookie. "
This one is for you," she said handing it to Lexi. Kurumi had taken hours trying to get the wording right on the message in that particular cookie. The paper wasn't nearly big enough to fix everything.
