...but at least he was agreeing that his blasted cat was now fully washed, which earned him a smile from Sierra. She nodded once and then retrieved her wand, giving the groundskeeper a look that said he should move now if he didn't want to get wet.
Then again, she was a witch, and he was a wizard. If he
did get wet, which he probably would, a well-cast drying charm would do the trick.
"Aquamenti!" she said, and a blast of water shot from her wand and onto the cat. Soap suds dripped off the cat and onto the ground.
"Finite," Sierra said, ending the charm. A second later, she cast the drying charm, making sure to direct her wand to Stryker a bit, too, just in case any of the water had somehow gotten on him.
