Shifting forward in the seat, Sabel took Lafay's offered hand and gave it a firm shake. "You as well Professor. Don't scare the first years too much." His smile widened a little as he took his hand back and moved to his feet. Hopefully he would see the woman again, sometime in the future.
His eyes flicked back to the door, to Jake who he suddenly realized had actually entered the room. The other's boy's presence didn't give him time to think or contemplate the goodbye that was required. His time was up, and with a small smile he turned his eyes back to Lafay, giving her a polite nod of the head. "Goodbye, Professor Lafay."
Another small smile and he was heading to the door, stopping briefly in front of Jake, offering the other kid his hand. "Best of luck, Jake."
"Get out of my office Dakest..." She said playfully...
Scaring Firsties... Really... She smiled at him and shut the door after he left.

When Sabel held out his hand to Jake, the kid stared at it for a moment. Well... that made a lot of this seem final. "And to you, Sabel," he nodded at the young man in front of him, shaking his hand. Gentlemanly, and all that.

Jake smiled at Sabel and nodded again.
"So..." She said not mentioning anything about Sabel. "What do you need..." She said coldly. She needed an apology for his rudeness... but she wouldn't ask him. Truth was... she'd miss the little jerk.
