Well, THAT changes EVERYTHING! Thanks for not mentioning that sooner. And why did it change everything? Because the same 'hard working' stuff had been popping up during Divination...many times.
So, yeah, it was cool. He smiled.
And they were going to do...er...what now?
Treyen only heard the word 'partner' and 'calculations', and it didn't take long for him to gather his quill and parchment and move over to share a desk with Kurumi. "Partner?" Aha! Another smile.
But, seriously, Kurumi had no other choice.
"What am I supposed to do?" he WHISPERED to the Gryffindor girl, so Hadley wouldn't hear.
Kurumi squeaked when she felt the air particles divide and something came swishing out of no where to take up a seat next to her. There was something bright and white that blinded her temporarily, but it was enough of a hint to Kurumi as to who had decided to sit next to her.
Partners? Only if he had a pair of sunglasses for her to use.
"
S-S-S-Sure," she said turning her face away to try and hide her blushing cheeks. "
Well...first you need to write the proper numbers that go with the letters in your name...but we already did that."
Phew, explaining things always made her calm down and decrease the chance of her hair changing colors.
She took her parchment and checked over to make sure the numbers all matched up.
"
So, now we need to calculate Life Path Number," she explained picking up her quill. "
So, my birthday is May 12..."
She leaned forward and began writing on her parchment.
"
So, my Life Path Number is 8. Since none of the karmic numbers appeared in the final calculation before I got 8, I believe this means I do not have any karmic debt. The numbers you need to look out for are 10, 13, 14, 16, or 19." Well, that was a relief at least. She turned her gaze to Treyen. "
Does that make sense? How about you give it a try?"
