Kurumi smiled at Adam and decided to take a seat on the floor. Walnut hopped onto her lap and curled up into a ball and began to purr softly. She reached down with her right hand and gently scratched him behind the ears.

Adam felt weird standing up still. The eye level made it seem like he was more important, or had a higher standing position than Kurumi- which was not at all true.
Slowly, feeling a bit conscious about it, he sat down next to her.
