Kurumi listened to Adam and nodded slowly. His words registered, but it was like she wasn't really hearing them. Her heart thumped in her chest so hard that she felt as though it would come bursting through her chest at any moment. She was even beginning to feel short of breath.
Her thoughts suddenly went to their final Divination class of the year and what had happened there. Selina had seen something, a vision of a girl who knew Adam. A girl who had come from Mexico. Her mind had raced with all sorts of situations that could explain who she was.

He could tell she was listening to him, but her mind was in a different world.Kurumi was somewhere else, and Adam didn't wish to bother her when she seemed deep in thought, that would be very rude of him.
Adam watched her more closely, as she was gonna say something, but changed her wording.
