This was no time to be Burn, Adam. He wasn't gonna pretend to be happy about leaving the one place that made him feel at home, that wouldn't be respectful to anyone, and especially Kurumi, she deserved the truth at last, after all that had happened.
Kurumi set the tin box she had been holding in her hands down on a chair and walked closer to Adam.
She stood very still for a few moments wondering if perhaps she should leave Adam alone to his thoughts. Yet, something told her that perhaps staying would be better.
Kurumi wrapped her arms around Adam and realized that she couldn't bring herself to be strong in this situation. It didn't really call for either of them to be strong - not that either of them could be. Two years had gone by in the blink of an eye.
