Emmy was quite surprised- she'd never been so nervous, and yet so glad that a certain person had arrived before! Nevertheless, she was inordinately grateful that Professor Saylen had appeared.
Maya's wide eyes narrowed more and more with every word that came out of that little girl.

"Allright, left wing. Come inside and place her on the table so I can examine her." the Mexicana opened the door wider, for the girl and the owl to come inside her cottage, while she gathered some ointment jars and clean towels.
