“Hugey Wugey!”

The guys who were making an obscene snowman started laughing as Hugo passed them.

Ignore.

One of the guys came walking next to Hugo. “Hey! We’re talking to you!”

Hugo ignored him and walked further. The guys started laughing harder. Another guy came from a corner with a snowball at his hand, pretending to throw, then stopping.

“Just kidding, we don’t through at weirdos,” he said and all the bullies laughed.

Just as Hugo thought they had stopped, he felt an icy snowball shoved in his neck. Pretending not to care, he walked on, crying on the inside.
