And then he was blinking at her in surprise. "Alzheimer's?" They were working on something to cure it? He could have sworn the muggle part of his brain exploded right then and there.
Bitting his bottom lip, he turned his eyes away down the hall. It was always a good shock to the system hearing that something impossible in the muggle world was as simple as a potion in the wizarding. Sometimes painfully shocking. "That's...wow."
With a small smile and an awkward shift on the window sill, he glanced back at Sierra. "And you say you know little about muggles." Even if she did, the fact that she was going so far to help them was amazing.
Sierra wasn't sure why she'd told Sabel about the Alzheimer's Potion. It had a lot to do, she knew, with the fact that he was talking about Muggle medicine and how long it takes for a Muggle to heal. At the same time, though, she and Treyen knew next to nothing about creating their own potion, much less one that could cure something like Alzheimer's.
"I do know little about Muggles," she clarified. She'd been going to Muggle Studies class and talking with Sabel some, but the potion she was creating really required little knowledge of the Muggle way of life.
"I was raised around magic, though--as you know, and my sister's a Potions Mistress. Things like brews and the ingredients that go in them are right up my alley."
She paused and released a small sigh before saying anything else.
"I'm not sure how great of a potion it's going to be, though," she admitted.
"We're eleven and thirteen...or fourteen years old. Lafay's been in the lab with us, though. She's checked our ingredients a time or two."
