Cass thinks for a minute then shrugs, "Well I am willing to talk to anyone that is friendly normally, boy or girl. And besides moving from Japan to here I have never been anywhere else, at least not yet." He just likes having people to talk to and maybe have fun with so the notion that some guys have a hard time being a girls friend is unusual to Cass.

"Well I better get the last of this homework done Rex, I hope we can talk again before the end of the school year." With that Cass waves to Rex and heads back to his books and parchment at the study tables.
