She had never seen Draco on one knee before.

She looked at him, strands of hair escaping the clip nestled in her fire-tinted hair, at the gorgeous gray eyes; at that straight, aristocratic nose; at the lips, just right; at the jaw, strong and perfect and... and she looked at the lips again, realized he was smirking, and rolled her eyes.

"You just ruined the moment," Draco pointed out.

"You thought I'd swoon and say I couldn't believe my luck, didn't you?" Ginny asked, indignant.

"No, I thought you'd swoon and be speechless," Draco said lazily.

"You're so arrogant, Malfoy, it's unbelievable. But yes. I must be mad, but ye -" She didn't get to say more, because then he had his arms around her, holding her. Holding her like she belonged there.

"I knew you'd say yes," he whispered in her ear. "No one can resist me."

"Shut up," Ginny grinned, and then the grin faded. "I love you," she said, one hand finding his cheek and resting there. He leaned in, and their lips met. Clung. "Forever," she whispered, holding him close, making her one unbreakable vow.

"Forever," Draco said quietly.
