Arya arched an eyebrow at her friend, a small smirk on her face. "Sort of?" She was all ears as Ivory told her the whole story about this new Slytherin prefect, which only served to briefly reminder her of the letter she needed to write Raiden. Maybe she would get to know this new prefect, it was weird not knowing either of the snake prefects. Plus he was taking her friend out, even if it was just as friends, she still wanted to meet him.

"That's how it starts," she teased with wiggling fingers. "I don't know him though. Least not by name, might have seen him around." She shrugged her shoulders. "Guess I'll see him at the tea party then."

Giggling, Ivory shook her head. "Maybe that's how it starts for other people but not this time." Evan was a great guy but that well spark just wasn't there. "Besides," She added nonchalantly as she stood up and dusted herself off. "Rumor has it he has a certain thing for a certain Gryffindor prefect." And she had it on good authority too. But she didn't mind, it saved her both the embarrassment of going alone and that of going with a random firstie. Waving good bye to Rafiki, she blew him a raspberry kiss before turning back to her friend.

"Some of us arn't so lucky as to fall in love with our best friends."Winking she swung an arm around her friend as they made their way out.
