And the bucket was so much more important than the chocolate milk. But, Destiny didn't care that the house elf wasn't getting the bucket. It wasn't like she was going to have to clean up Evelyn spew.
Snapping her fingers once more and giving her foot a little stomp in frustration, she calmed down a bit as the house elf turned and she had really thought it was going to get a bucket. But of course it wouldn't. Ripping the banana out of it's hand as it held it out for her, she raised her arm to throw it at it's face when she heard Evelyn. Turning her head slightly, Destiny lowered her banana throwing hand and..
..why was Evelyn sniffling!?
Being sick wasn't that bad! And she would have told her that if she wasn't so caught off guard with the question about Josh. She didn't even see the chocolate disappear!
What did she think about him?
Uhhhh..
"Well, he gave me chocolate once. I guess he is okay.." she gave a little shrug and slid the banana over to her friend. "Why?"
Hehe...
Evelyn couldn't help but smile and chuckle quietly as she witnessed the randomness of the banana being handed to her friend from the house elf. What was Destiny really wanting anyways? Perhaps she wanted all the food back.
It didn't take long for her chuckles to subside as her friend answered her question. Chocolate? Of course, that was pretty much the one thing that someone could give to Destiny to secure a rather good friendship. Maybe Josh was just being nice to her? Or maybe...he just wanted to get on her good side so she wouldn't suspect anything that could or may have been going on.
She needed to ask Marie about that too, what she thought of him.
Running her thumb under her eyes to wipe away the unshed tears, she smiled slightly before frowning, not being able to decide if she was amused or thoroughly depressed as of yet.
"Yea, I suppose." she agreed quietly. He was okay. Just messed up in the mind.
Taking a deep breath, Evelyn turned her gaze back to the blue eyed girl, shrugging her shoulders some. She wasn't all that ready to say anything about what happened in the room of requirement. It was still all too fresh in her mind.
"I don't know. I was just wondering..."
And now she was beginning to wonder how far the nearest bathroom was.
