She didn't know, but simply standing there all alone couldn't be that much fun.
It was only when she was right beside the girl that Vashti realized she recognized her. "Hey Eirian," she greeted with a smile. Then, with a brief glance at the maze entrance and the "Drink Me" sign above the shelves, she asked, "You planning on going in?"
Eirian heard someone walk up beside her and stop, probably to stare at the shelf of potions. Turning, she realized that it was Vashti. Wow! Long time no see. That was for sure... When had she gotten so big? Awwwww... That made Eirian feel old. Although, she
was seventeen... Old. So old. "Ola," she greeted, smiling weakly. "I am not sure... I am so lost already. I am not sure a maze is the best idea for me..."
Sigh. Lost indeed... Life had spun her around and set her loose on the world, and Eirian hadn't quite been able to catch herself since. Then again, with her grandmother dead, even now, Eirian didn't know what to do with herself. How did people care for themselves just after they realized how much freedom they could truly have with someone else pulling the strings?
