"Uhhh... maybe?" Jake chuckled slightly. He LIKED that palm tree. "That'll brighten up the house a treat," he smirked.

Aka, NO! MY PALM TREE! *HISSSSSSSSSSSSS*

"Professor... do we have to turn them back?" Because he had one he didn't mind turning back but... it was lost already. And the happy surprise of the palm tree, nor the fake rose for Neptune was NOT being turned back to rubbish.

Hehe.
Oh, Jake.

"Well you have to turn something back," Isabelle chuckled, eyeing up the Hufflepuff, and noting his protective tone about the tree. "But it doesn't have to be the palm tree to which you appear so attached. You can transfigure something else for the sole purpose of trying this spell."

"Covadium!" *swish to the left and tap* she transfigured the Bertie Bott's packet into a nice earring box for the professor. "Professor, I transfgured this for you!" She beamed with pride!
She had a gift? Ohhh, how sweet!

"Jaina that is lovely, thank you." Taking the box, Issy inspected it. So pretty, and quite an intricate pattern for a first year. She was impressed. "I'll put it on display on my desk," she smiled.

Tapping her bongos a bit more, Kurumi frowned when she heard it was time to practice turning them back. She supposed that she could just turn them back into bongos once she had mastered the new spell though.

Now setting the bongos on the table, Kurumi took out her wand again and *tap tap* “Balterius!” and the bongos began to melt and change for back into the plastic bottle…that was now flattened. It looked like someone had run over the plastic bottle with their car and then kicked it against the wall several times. Oops…Maybe if she turned them back into bongos all would be well? “Covadium!” she commanded repeating the wand movement. The plastic bottle once again began to glow and divide…but not into the pretty bongos she had made earlier. Nope, now then looks like some bongos also run over by a car and kicked around the block more than a few times.

So much for the band. “Um, Professor?” Kuurmi asked raising her hand. “Would Reverto fix the mess I have made?” If not, well, then she had doubled her trash. Sad.

O_____o

Okay, so perhaps Kurumi was having issues with focussing at that moment, because Issy hadn't seen anyone melt an item for a while. It had happened before, of course, but....well yes. And the attempted recovery didn't seem to go to plan either.

Reverto. "Not in this case, I don't think," Isabelle said, tilting her head to inspect the flattened bongos. Bending down, she picked up another bottle and placed it on the girls desk. With a flick of her wand, she vanished the melted pile and patted Kurumi on the back. "Perhaps you should start again? Just make sure you keep your focus, and your magic will work for you."

"Concentrate, Jaina," Isabelle called from the other side of the room. She had noticed the girl went off in a little world of her own, and this wasn't really a subject you could do that in. "You haven't missed anything. Yet. I'll be moving on soon."

"Yes Professor......something like that" he mumbled his face burning in embrassement, were they really that silly lovey dovey couple PAIR of students.

Focusing only on his maracas and microphone and not the angel person beside him, Patroclus selected other piece of trash and added to his musical arsenal, "Covaduim!" the young wizard chanted turning an old coat hanger into a Harmonica with neck brace!

The band was almost ready!

The boy turned his attention over to the other members of the Trash Band; Salander was murdering tuning his uke, and Kurumi was.......silent.

"OK I have the best song for us to play!" he grinned, before adding, "Perhaps Kurumi we will have to get your Bongo back!" The LionBoy did have excellent eyes, however there was no reason for Kurumi to be embrassed.....her creations had been mentioned by Professor Magnus!

"Professor, if It's OK, could me and my fellow Band members play a song at the end of the Lesson"
Perhaps he should have asked the other two first....

Oh Well!
Heh. Something like that.

A sly, and knowing, smirk crossed the features of the forty year old as she watched the redness grow on the prefects face. Hmm, something like that indeed.

And they seemed to be going with her band idea. Fabulous. And that was a very impressive mouth organ. "I don't see why not. As soon as we're finished with the lesson, you may all come up the front." Why not?

SPOILER!!: Kurumi's fourth item

Nervously, Kurumi pressed done gently on one of the keys and heard the nice crisp note. Well, it might not be the grand piano that she had been imagining, but at least it sounded like one? Kurumi then lost herself for a moment and began playing the piano suit that her mother had made soon after she was born.

Realizing that she was perhaps distracting her classmates, Kurumi turned bright red and threw her hood over her head to hide any potential hair color changes.
Music. There was already music playing. Where was that coming from? Spinning on the spot, Isabelle's mouth dropped open when she spotted Kurumi playing a mini piano. Smiling, she listened for a little while, before walking over.

"No need to hide under there, Kurumi," she said, moving the hood back slightly so the girl could see her face. "That was very nice, but I do suggest waiting until the end of the lesson and joining your classmates. We still have some work to do."

Hugo tapped his pick twice- naww he wanted to keep it. He put the pick in his pocket and took another piece of garbage off the ground. "Covadium!" And the piece of garbage transformed in a little music box. He winded it, and it started playing this little song Hugo just came up with. AWESOME!

Hugo heard a little song. He turned around and spotted Kurumi playing it. "Hey Kurumi, nice piano," he said. "Check this out." He tapped the music box twice. "Baltarius," and it transformed back. He concentrated on what he wanted now. "Covadium!" The garbage transfigured to the same music box, but it was now playing this little song.
And now Hugo was joining in. Although his was a music box that was playing itself. My, my, she did have a musical class. Giving him an appreciative nod, she moved back to the front of the class and cleared her throat again. The best way to get their attention.

"Okay everyone, we'll be moving on now. All the things you wish to keep from the first half of the lesson, you may do so, just please put them away safe."
Or...to the side of the room...in the case of the palm tree. Probably the most interesting thing that had been transfigured so far.

"This next spell is more specific as to the items you can use it on. In fact it turns a plastic bag, which is horrible for the environment, into one that is more useful - a school satchel, handbag, rucksack - for instance. Any sort you want it to be." Pulling one of the bags closer to her, Issy pointed her wand and performed the movement necessary, while saying the spell, "Peradium." Now instead of the ripped plastic that was there before, a lovely handbag had taken it's place.

Smiling at the kids, she held it up for them to see. "Now what I want you all to do is come up and collect a plastic carrier bag, and use your imagination on the design and style of your bag. The incantation is 'Per-add-e-um' (Peradium), and the wand movement is two small clockwise circles and a tap on the bag. Please practise each element before combining them to perform the spell. Don't want any accidents, do we?"

Pushing the pile of bags closer to the edge of her desk, Isabelle stepped back to allow the kids room to approach. "And above all, concentration, and focus, is key to everything." Yes, she was looking at Jaina, Destiny and Patroclus when she said that. "And 'Reverto' will work to reverse the spell, so please do that if you can, or ask me for help if you don't know how." Like if it melts.

OOC: You may post pictures of the bags you transfigure, an image from the internet (NO HOTLINKING, PLEASE), hand drawn, or one done using a graphics program (extra credit for one of your own making) Have fun!
