He hadn't seen anyone be this apologetic towards him since Vashti spoke to him during the paint fight at the start of the term. "It's fine, really." Now, if some of the grime from the walls had gotten onto his robes, into his hair, or onto his bag, that would have been a different story with the ever-proper Ravenclaw boy.

"Well," Deus prompted, looking around momentarily, "I suppose you have a class to attend to?" She seemed anxious, as if she had things on her mind or was going to be late for a date of some sort. "Or something girly to do, at least? Don't think that you need to stay back and apologize, dear."
