"I don't really like Arithmacy. It's too much like math. Too many numbers." Nika groaned.
What a horrible subject! She quickly shook it off and started to smile again.
"I mean it's not that bad of a subject. I just don't find it interesting. At all. Not one bit. But Ancient Runes. That's not one of my favorites either. Other than that I guess everything else is okay so far. Potions is hard especially having Professor Lafay, but it's an interesting class and I like it." Mostly...

"Oh yes!" Emily piped up. She loved talking about classes!
"Astronomy sounds really good! Learning about the stars and planets and such!"
Astronomy on the other hand, that sounds interesting.

Emily laughed then closed her eyes.
"How about... Will me and Nika be friends for a long, long time to come?" she laughed. Silly question. She knew her and Nika would be friends for as long as they were at Hogwarts. Probably longer! She was her best friend!
She pulled out a stick, handed it to Nika and smiled. She hoped this would be a good answer!
Nika turned her attention back to homework.
Ugh... Homework. Nika smiled reassuringly.
Of course we will stay friends! She reached over and took the stick from Emily.
"Okay I will do my best. Let me know if I get anything wrong." She was bound to. Taking a deep breath she continued,
"Okay your number is...." She slapped her legs trying to create a drum roll.
"Two!" Wait, what was two?" She frantically opened her text book and flipped through the pages.
Ahh yes, two. "Well if I'm reading this correctly then it means something about harmony and cooperation." She read through it some more, and stopped again and looked up at Emily.
"Oh, and has to do with peacemaking and balance." She skimmed through it some more and hummed a cheerful little tune. She then quickly looked at Emily and put her hand on Emily's leg and with an apologetic look she said,
"Emily, I have a feeling you are going to have to tolerate me for a looonng time. I'm sorry." She smiled at her friend and reached over to give her a hug.
"So how was that?" She was double guessing herself.
Did I interpret that wrong?!?! What was it suppose to be?
