Hello Emily. I love how Arthur is still the same easy going guy he has always been. And I think Sophie is correct. He has had a rough life with going through two wizard wars. Now seeing him so happy with his granddaughter just makes me feel so happy for him.

Molly on the other hand....
Quote:
“Hey, mum, Charlie and I wanted to talk to you and Dad alone for a minute…” Christelle announced with a smile as she sat down at the counter and Charlie went to pick at some food. Molly swatted his hand away as he chuckled.

“So, what is it you need to tell me?” Molly asked as she kept stirring over the oven.
First of all; Molly could have magiced the spoon to stir for her while she politely paid attention to what was obviously important to Charlie and Christelle. And secondly; she Christelle said her and Charlie had something to talk about with them, not just tell them. And thirdly;
Quote:
“Dinner’s almost ready; can you guys make sure everybody’s cleaned up?” Molly inquired as she turned back to her soup with pursed lips.
This was so totally rude of Molly! Christelle and Charlie didn't go out to talk about her parents. And Molly shouldn't have pushed the issue. And just because Christelle answered a bit snappy, didn't give Molly reason to dismiss the importance of what they were wanting to talk to them about. And plus, she started talking before they could even get Arthur out there to talk.
Quote:
“Yeah, sure,” Christelle said in a deflated voice as she passed Arthur. “C’mon, Charlie, we’ll tell them later,” Christelle mumbled and Charlie reluctantly followed her out the door.
So sad.

Oh! And I wonder why Ginny would be such a loud mouth about something she could see was obviously a secret. I would have thought Ginny being her best friend would have been finding an excuse to get Christelle into another room to try and pry out the news without anyone around. But, I'm sure you have a reason for this.

Emily, I enjoyed the beginning of your sequal, and you did very well writing the scene out to make it feel like I was really there. Good job. I'll be watching for your next.
