Then Alex was asking her to promise to save him from Sel. Then he messed up her hair. WHAT? Emma gave him a little pout for a second. Meh! He did it again! Fixing up her hair, she tried to look at the ice. Maybe the ice would show how her hair looked. It didn't work.. The blonde shrugged slightly. Hopefully it didn't look bad. She giggled and smirked her famous Malfoy smirk. "Welll... I don't know, partner" she began, pausing and grinning widely at Alex. Should she? Emma smiled and put a more serious face, holding her hand out to him. "I promise. I promise with all my heart." Emma exclaimed.
"Do you want to try to skate again? Please?" she added, almost begging him. Puppy eyes.
Alex lie on the cold ice and turned his head to the side.
"Do you hate me now?" he chuckled. How was it that he had no balance on the ice but he could sit on a stick in the air? Madly confusing.
She would protect him from Sel? Success! He grinned at her and shook her hand that she held out for him.
"Then I'd love to come." he smiled.
He didn't want to skate, it hurt because he fell down all the time. And whenever he wasn't falling, he was already lying down... He looked up at her, saw those puppy eyes and caved. Seriously, wasn't there a spell or something that he could use so his friends wouldn't win him over with a stupid set of eyes?! He sighed and threw up his arms in the air as a sign of surrender.
"Fine!" he exclaimed trying his best to get up but failed.
"Step one; How to stand up?" he murmured to himself.

Today is a good day. Ellie thought to herself. She was spending the day in the beautiful cold weather on the ice with her best of friends. Could it get any better? Le gasp! Maybe! Alex was actually attempting to stand up.

Ice sprayed from her skates as she came to a halt and watched Alex attempt to stand up. And then, yaaaay! He did it!
"You did it!" She exclaimed with a grin,
slightly sounding like a primary teacher would to a five year old.
Uh-oh. He was wobbling now. And before she knew it, Alex was falling for her.

) She held her her arms out for him to grab onto so he wouldn't land on the hard ice again. And then Alex Reed was dangling off her arm, cute smile and all.
"Why hello there." She said back with a grin. She took a gloved hand and dusted a snowflake off his nose.
Alex hung on Ellie's arm looking down at the ice for a second with only one eye opened. He opened them both wide when he realized he hadn't landed on the ice. Ellie had saved him! Or he had attacked her and forced her to hold him, whatever worked for him.
"Why hello." he grinned back and dared to let go with one hand to wave at her. Not that wave with the whole hand but that wave that old ladies did in the muggle movies, with just the fingers you know? He made it look extremely cool. He hoped.
He straightened up and could actually stand without falling, sure he held on to Ellie for the love of all that is magic but still. He stood.
"Do I have to move around? Isn't this enough?" he asked her hopeful.
