Kita smiled when Caroline looked back up again. There was no need for her to be embarrassed; not with another girl. Ok, maybe that wasn't true. She started laughing again. "Boys will be boys, i guess," she said, fake sighing, "And us girls are still going to get confused about them." There was way too much truth in those words. Boys are confusing. Kita laughed again. "No problem!" she said, realising that she probably sounded like a mother. Ah well!

And that's when Caroline had shouted to Carter. Kita looked round at her with her mouth wide open. "I can't believe you just did that," she said, before bursting into laughter once more.
