Kita tried to keep a straight face as she emerged from her 'coughing fit'. "You'll find someone who'll let you win Wizard's Chess!" she said, trying to look sympathetic, "He's probably waiting for you with his own useless chessboard and pieces." The last sentence was a bit too much for her. Especially since an image of a guy holding a chessboard floated into her mind. Cheesy smile and all. She started laughing.
Ava Jade laughed again. "Okay, I'll let you know if and when that every happens! And you do the same. Only you have to get two before I'll trust you with my relationship problems..." She giggled to make sure Kita knew she was teasing. When her friend said they should find an older experienced girl, Ava Jade replied, "Oh yes, that is a problem, since I can't say that I know too many like that..." She pursed her lips and thought for a minute. "Well, maybe we'll just have to rely on each other despite our lack of experience..."
"Aww, I'm sure he is!" Ava Jade managed to keep a straight face, but it only lasted a second: then she lost it, bursting out in giggles. "If there even
is such a boy in existence -- not to mention at Hogwarts -- I'll be shocked!"
Finally sobering from her laughing spell, Ava Jade sighed, watching the fire flicker down as the clock ticked later and later. "Wow...how long have we just been sitting here chatting about
boys?" She couldn't even recall when they'd started...the topic was rather addicting. (She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.)
