So he wanted to come across confident. But not arrogant like he was often did. And also hard working, dedicated, willing to work as part of a team. All of the stuff Alan Sugar had taught him last night while watching re-runs of the Apprentice. Only he wouldn't mention that - he didn't know his new boss, so for all he knew he could just stand then waffling on about something the man had no clue about.
Taking another deep breath, and telling his mind to stop whirring and calm down, Adam knocked on the door.
Armen had been a little shaken up from the meeting the night before when he had returned to his medium-sized, yet well furnished flat. Being a Department Head with all the stress of organizing an entire group of people and running a specific part of the Magical World did have a monetary advantage to his old job as Division Head. After sleeping and cooling off the night before, the 32-year old Transfiguration Head made his way into downtown London early, and was on Level 6 before his other employees had arrived.
After turning on lights, Armen walked down the short hall passed the work cubicles and went into his office. He hung up his coat and then made his way over to his desk to begin sorting through the pile of mail that had been delivered that morning.
About 15 minutes into his work the door knocked and he called out a cheery,
"Come in, it's open!"
