Ignoring Walnut's obnoxious purring, Kurumi knocked on the door and waited for Professor Bishop to answer. Her thoughts suddently went to Selina and the conversation they had had the other day. It really got Kurumi thinking about all types of special abilities out there. Having finished the planning she'd been doing for the next Divination lesson, Renée was perusing the note that had been sent to her a few days earlier. Again, and every once in a while she'd look at the roses that were still on the corner of her desk. It had only taken a little charm to keep them fresh, even though she had to admit a bit of irony at that thought. The other half of her birthday present was still ensconced in its box in her desk drawer, the refrigeration charm still reasonably active. But at the sound of a knock on her door, she looked up and over toward it. Apparently someone wanted to see her, which made her lay the note down on her desk as she stood to head over, Bowie following at her heels in curiosity.
Opening the door, she smiled as she saw Kurumi standing outside, although she sent an amused glance toward the cat curled up on the chair purring. "Well this is a lovely surprise, Kurumi," she responded, indicating that the Gryffindor was welcome to come in with a nod of her head. "What brings you over here?" It wasn't extraordinarily far, given her common room was in the towers as well, but she imagined that this wasn't exactly a random visit. Most students didn't just show up at their professors' offices without one question or another.
