Feeling a bit brave, especially since he had completed the feat so expertly before, Amadeus began skating backwards and took a deep breath as he closed his eyes momentarily, planning to do a twirl, jump, and swan dive. It would be just as graceful and exhilarating as the last time. Bracing himself, Amadeus made to turn and twirl but something went horribly, utterly wrong.

Amadeus did indeed jump and fly, but not as he had wished. He had tripped over something much larger than a small rock and had flown backwards, landing flat on his bum. His gloved hands supported him as they attempted to grip the ice, his perfectly coiffed hair now untidy as a few yellow curls hung loosely onto his forehead. Amadeus's passive facial expression turned into one of severe irritation as he looked up to see what had caused his epic failure.

It was a girl, one with blonde curls, that Deus had never seen in his life. She sat on the ice in nearly the same position that Amadeus did. Near her stood a boy heavily covered in his winter attire. Something about that tall, lanky figure looked familiar. The Ravenclaw's face began to color, the pink on his cheeks from the biting cold morphing into a deep red as his temper rose. "What in Merlin's name...?!" He viciously muttered, his voice growing louder so the imbeciles could hear his wrath.
Braeden was just in the process of helping the blonde girl up to her feet when, suddenly, a third figure arrived, tripping right over them and causing Braeden to stumble and nearly fall backwards. Where had that come from?! Alright, this ice skating rink was getting just a little too dangerous - first the blonde girl knocks him over, now this third person throws himself at them and nearly kills them. Merlin.

After regaining his composure, Braeden figured he might as well be nice and ask the newcomer if he was alright; however, before a word could leave his lips, the tall young man was speaking with such venom in his voice and wrath in his tone that Braeden recognized him right away. Amadeus Kipling. Now Braeden's face lit up and he eagerly offered his friend a hand. "Deus! Are you alright!?" he asked, flashing his friend one of his lopsided smiles, though there was a hint of concern in the brown of his eyes. "Merlin, mate. What are you on, a suicide mission?"
