At first he blinked at her, turning his eyes up to peer from under his brow at her hands. It was only a brief moment before he relaxed again, a dopey smile on his face as he let her fuss with his hair; she could probably do a better job with it anyways.

"Wasn't studying. Just couldn't sleep." He attempted a one shouldered shrug before finding it rather pointless and giving up. "That doesn't really sound like nothing. It sounds decently productive."
