She looked over at Braeden who seems quieter than usual since her arrival with the ice cream. She grinned at him and asked "Want a bite?" She held up her bowl to him. She raised both eyebrows as she offered.
Braeden chuckled softly as Caroline shared with him what flavour she'd gotten, quietly watching her eat before realizing that was rude and tearing his gaze away to watch the house elves work instead. He was beginning to get drowsy; a full stomach always left the boy wanting nothing more than to plop down onto his bed and sleep the rest of the night and the following morning away.
The Gryffindor boy was distracted from his half-asleep dreams, though, as Caroline offered some of her ice cream to him. He flashed her one of his goofy grins before shaking his head slightly. "Not this time, Caroline; you're on your own now," he said with a soft chuckle. "Thanks, though." He was just simply wayyy too full to have one more bite of anything right now.
But man, was he sleepy. It had come out of nowhere, the sudden tiredness; well, maybe it was because he'd been up since early that morning and it was past curfew hours now. He'd had a busy day today and deserved some rest.
And so, without warning, the boy's head merely fell to the table (landing with a loud thud as his forehead hit the table surface) and just two seconds later, he was snoring away.
