Right as Belle whispered that her wing was gone, Charley found she was unable to see. She started reluctantly moving her left leg forward, trying to stay in time with Belle as well. Belle lost a wing, Charley couldn't see and the last thing they needed was for either of them to get hurt.
"Make sure we don't bump into anything, okay, Belle?" she requested, hating that her voice came out as weak and scared as she felt.
