Conan frowned at her. He wasn't holding any horses. Or was he meant to be holding them? That may have been the problem.
"Egyptian? Ancient or present? I know that there are sphinxes there, but they aren't real. They were just a myth. A religious creation." Conan had read books. He had never visited Egypt. It wasn't part of his father's work.
"If they are real, do you have one?" Maybe they were only tiny little things. The Egyptians just made them look big.
