Lexie watched while her classmates paired or teamed up, one by one. She stood rooted at the spot, not knowing what to do. Most of her classmates were not first years and knowing that didn't help at all. It's true that there were a few students staring around blankly with a look of confusion not unlike the one on her own face.
But they look so intimidating. She frowned at that thought.
Then she spotted a girl, probably a little older than she was, standing alone. And her costume.
We look almost alike! Well except for her dress, and the ears... and gosh, the colour! Lexie walked towards the girl.
