Fiona shuffled through the portrait hole and threw herself into a particularly squashy armchair. Fiona gave a huge sigh. What a day. she thought to herself. Septimus spotted a girl enter the common room. She must have been in the same year as himself. He really needed to figure out the Adam and Kurumi situation, but he also needed a distraction from all the dramatic interferences in his life. He moved over to sit beside her, all shyness forgotten. "Hi," he said to her, trying his best to hide his stress. "You looked like you could use some company."
