Gideon Adams was attracted to the crowd outside the Slytherin Common Room like a fly to a light as soon as he'd seen the beginnings of something interesting. From what he could pick out from snatches of gossip, some Slytherin sixth year had gone missing in the dead of night. "Hey, that's different..." Gideon mused to himself, watching Ministry workers and Aurors rushing about and grilling students for information. "I wonder if it'll be as fun-filled as las' year, hmm, all this talk about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named returnin'...wasn't there an article from the Quibbler about his father bein' a Death Eater an' all?"

Something glinted in the corner of his eye, distracting him. Eagerly he looked around to see what it was--oh, just someone's earrings. He had tons of those already. With students pressing against him on either side, fighting to get a glimse of what was going on, Gideon couldn't resist the opportunity to see what goodies they had in their pockets...hmm...where to start?
