As Adam pet her hair she let out a little sob. It was so unlike her. She was raised by a family full of men. In her house it was be tough or be taunted. Part of her was grateful for this mentality because it made her stronger and yet another part of her had wished she could really open up more. Now while Adam pet her hair she was bursting at the seems to be emotional and tell him what she really thought. But he needed her support in his decision. It seemed that she was the only one who agreed with him about his need to leave. Everyone else had overreacted and was not pleased. He needed someone to understand.
