. "Y'know, so you don't have a mob chasing you up and down the castle trying to take your picture and get your autograph?"
Then his brows furrowed.
"Or that you're a secret agent sent from America... I can't seem to remember which one was the real secret," he muttered the last bit more to himself than to Evangeline, his expression growing thoughtful for a second there before he was distracted by one of the little house-elves coming up to him. Beaming, Braeden made an order of grapes, bagels, cream cheese, apple pie, and lemonade.
Braeden was just walking over to a white table on which a basket filled with some french bread stood, when Evangeline spoke once more, pointing out that she knew more about Hogwarts even though she had just transferred to the school. "
What? No you don't!" said an offended Braeden. "I bet you don't know about that secret passage by the dungeons!" he pointed out childishly before realizing - oh crap. If she didn't know then... he just told her. Guh. Fail.
"Oh, of course. I really wouldn't want everyone to know about that, so I'll keep your secret." She agreed, all seriousness. She didn't say anything, and kept herself from laughing when he muttered to himself that he wasn't sure if her secret was that she was a famous actress, or that she was a secret agent sent from America. Hehe. When a house elf came over she also made an order for a few various sweets and treats.
She sat down at the white table and grabbed a piece of french bread, looking at Braeden getting offended. "You mean the secret passage right near my own common room?" She asked, with a chuckle. "And even if I didn't know about it, you just told me." She said.
